Shahid Kapoor is an avid social media user. He is currently enjoying the success of his recently released series, Farzi. He marked his digital debut with Raj & DK's series. It was released on Amazon Prime on February 10. the audience loved seeing Vijay Sethupathi and Bhuvan Arora's versatile performances in Farzi. Viewers are eagerly waiting for its second season. Shahid recently attended an event in the city and confirmed the Farzi sequel. When asked about Farzi 2, he ensured its sequel but mentioned that such things take time. He further said that its post-production took approximately one-and-a-half to two years for post-production, as it was getting dubbed in 35-40 languages and released in over 200 countries. He concluded by saying that as its shoot gets completed, it will take another two years to release Farzi 2.

The series featured Sahhid Kapoor in the lead role and stars Raashii Khanna, Kay Kay Menon, and Amol Palekar in key roles. Farzi is a black comedy crime thriller series about fake currency twists. It is produced and directed by Raj & DK. It is co-written by Sita Menon, Suman Kumar, and Raj & DK. It was released on Amazon Prime Video on February 10, 2023.
