The renowned classic is reimagined through the eyes of the Anglo-Indian community as a group of teens grapple with love, heartbreak, friendship, and rebellion. The Archies teaser provides a look into the film's universe, which is situated in the fictional mountainous town of Riverdale in 1960s India.
The nearly 2-minute-long video opens with the introduction of the main characters, who include Veronica (Suhana), Betty (Khushi), Archie (Agastya), and the group as they traverse adolescence with fun, music, and style. But, as with many stories, there is a twist, and the friends must band together even stronger than before to preserve their town, community, and, in the process, themselves.
