The Night Manager: Sobhita Dhulipala joins Aditya Roy Kapur and Anil Kapoor on the cast
Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur is presently busy filming for his much-anticipated streaming show The Night Manager, which is the official adaptation of the successful British television series of the same name. The actor has stepped into Tom Hiddleston’s shoes from the original and joining him on the cast is evergreen star Anil Kapoor.
The latest we hear is that talented actress Sobhita Dhulipala, who has several successful streaming shows to her credit, including Amazon Prime Video’s Made In Heaven (2019), has also onboarded The Night Manager as the female lead.
Spilling more beans, a source in the know informs a publication, “The makers were on the look out for a seasoned actor to play Elizabeth Debicki from the original with utmost conviction and they have locked Sobhita to play the part now. In fact, the actress was in conversations with the team even when Hrithik Roshan was in the conversations to do the series. While the casting of men has taken a turn, the actress continues to spearhead the show as female lead.
Earlier, Hrithik Roshan was set to topline the project but he walked out later for reasons best known to him. After his exit, the makers roped in Aditya Roy Kapur who will be making his digital debut with the series.
