We have grown up grooving to Anu Malik songs! And for the longest time, we appreciated his talent as he delivered some of the most addictive songs in his career. However, now that we have grown up and the entire world's content is accessible via the Internet, we realise that Anu Malik has somehow betrayed us by resorting to plagiarism. Time and again, we come across some old International classics that seem to be the source of inspiration for Anu Malik. The sad part is, the singer didn't just take inspiration, but copied the entire compositions.
Superhit Songs Of Anu Malik That Are Allegedly Copied:
1. Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar/The Godfather Theme
In the 1995 film 'Akele Hum Akele Tum,' the song 'Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya' seems oddly similar to the theme from the Oscar-winning 'The Godfather' (1971), originally composed by Nina Rota.
2. Mera Mulk Mera Desh/ Israeli National Anthem
The artist faced a barrage of social media trolling when a clip from the Tokyo Olympics 2020 went viral. The clip highlighted striking similarities between the tunes of the Israeli National Anthem - 'Hatikvah', composed back in 1887, and Malik's creation, 'Mera Mulk Mera Desh,' featured in the 1996 film ‘Diljale.’

3. Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhen/Because Of You/Guaglione
'Baazigar' (1993) includes a song that appears to have drawn inspiration from two tracks. The intro and some portions closely mirror 'Because Of You' by the American pop group Cover Girls (1986). Meanwhile, the verses sound eerily similar to 'Guaglione' by Giuseppe Fanciulli, first released in 1956.
4. Neend Churayee Meri/Sending All My Love
Featured in the 1997 film 'Ishq,' this song bears a striking resemblance to 'Sending All My Love' by the American pop group Linear, released in 1990.
5. I Was Made For Loving You/I Was Made For Loving You
Even the title of this song is apparently borrowed, featured in the 1999 film 'Jaanam Samjha Karo.' While the tempo is slightly altered, the tune closely resembles the popular rock anthem 'I Was Made For Loving You,' first released in 1979.

6. Return Of The Mack/Jab Bhi Koi Haseena
In the hit comedy 'Hera Pheri,' a song with striking similarities to 'Return Of The Mack' by Mark Morrison (1996) is featured. The pre-chorus and chorus portions in the song, 'Jab Bhi Koi Haseena,' bear a strong resemblance to Morrison's music.
Well, we have now words, except- Et Tu, Brute?
