Did Salman Khan BLAME Filmmakers For Bollywood’s Unsuccessful Streak At The Box Office, Saying ‘ Kharab Picture Banaoge…’?

Salman Khan is one such actor who enjoys a massive global fan base. Fans eagerly wait to see his movie in theatres. He hasn't seen a flop at the box office in a long time. ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan ', his much-anticipated family comedy starring ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ is set to hit the theatres soon.

On Tuesday, Salman Khan attended a press conference in Mumbai. The actor discussed the recent box office failures of Bollywood films, claiming that he has been saying for a long time that "Hindi films are not working." Salman elaborated on why he believes this, referring to today's 'too cool' directors. He also questioned their 'knowledge of India.'

Aside from last year's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva and Drishyam 2, and Shah Rukh Khan's recent release, Pathaan, several Bollywood films have underperformed since the Covid-19 crisis. Salman was asked about this at a recent event after speaking about filmmakers not making the right films.

Talking about the same, he said, "I've been saying for a long time that our Hindi films are failing. Galat picture banaoge toh kaise chalegi..( How will they work if you make bad movies) Today's filmmakers have a totally different perspective on India. They believe it runs from Andheri to Colaba. The filmmakers I've met and connected with are just too cool. They create that type of stuff. Hindustan, on the other hand, is a very another story. They begin east of the railway stations."

Salman continued further saying, "I hope my words don't come back to bite me," Salman continued. Bhari nahi padhna chaiye (No one should ask what kind of film I made). It (Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan) comes out on April 21st, and I hope everyone enjoys it."

About ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’

Salman is currently preparing for his forthcoming film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, in which he will star alongside Pooja Hegde. Venkatesh, Jagapathi Babu, Shehnaaz Gill, Jassie Gill, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, and Palak Tiwari appear in supporting roles in the action film directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Salman Khan Films.
