But not many people know that Farah wanted to use 40 stars in the song at first, but 9 of them couldn't make it to the end shoot for different reasons.

Farah Khan originally wanted 'Deewangi' to have a huge 40 stars. But 9 stars couldn't be in the end shoot because they said no or couldn't make it work with their schedules. Farah wanted Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan to all be in the song. Instead of saying 'no,' Aamir said that he had to work on 'Taare Zameen Par' and couldn't do it. Aamir said later that he just didn't want to be involved. Dev Anand also turned down the offer, saying that he doesn't do roles.

Dilip Kumar, Saira Banu, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Raveena Tandon, Fardeen Khan, and Amitabh Bachchan were among the other 7 stars who couldn't make it to the shoot. The Bachchans were busy getting ready for Abhishek and Aishwarya's wedding, and Raveena Tandon was having trouble with her baby. Shah Rukh Khan said he would bring Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu every day, but he couldn't do it. Fardeen Khan couldn't take part because he was arrested on the day of the shoot.

It is a big celebration of movies and features 31 stars. It shows how much love and emotion went into making the song, which is why it is a favourite part of 'Om Shanti Om.'
