The much-awaited sequel to the classic movie ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ from 2001 is titled ‘Gadar 2: The Katha Continues.’ The movie, whose August 11, 2023 release date has been confirmed, stars Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in their respective roles as Tara Singh and Sakeena. To promote their movie, ‘Gadar 2,’ Sunny and Ameesha travelled to Gulabi Nagari, Jaipur, on August 3, 2023.

Our hopes are high for a fun moviegoing experience because Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are working together once more. On Thursday, August 3, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel travelled to Jaipur to promote ‘Gadar 2.’ The two visited Pink City Parkota's Hawa Mahal Jharokhe. Sunny and Ameesha stood for photographers and fans on the street in front of the Hawa Mahal. A lot of fans gathered to see their favourite actors. even had others take selfies with him.

In addition, Sunny Deol inspired the crowd by reciting the movie's famous line, 'Hindustan Zindabad.' For Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, who travelled to Chhoti Chaupar, Jaipur, to see the Hawa Mahal, the roads were closed. Tara Singh and Sakeena outfits were worn by both actors. Sunny also encouraged his followers to watch his movie 'Gadar 2' in theatres.

The freshly released 'Gadar 2' video depicts Tara Singh crossing the border in a risky attempt to save his son, Utkarsh Sharma, who is being held captive in Pakistan. 'Gadar 2', which is set in Lahore in 1971, aims to live up to its predecessor's riveting action sequences while displaying Tara Singh's unrelenting rage towards those who are stoking animosity between India and Pakistan.

On August 11,2023 Anil Sharma's 'Gadar 2' is slated for release; intriguingly, it will compete with Akshay Kumar's 'OMG 2'.

The setting of the 2001 movie 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha' is the 1947 partition of India. According to reports, Boota Singh, an ex-soldier in the British army, served as a loose inspiration for the movie. He was well-known for his sad love affair with Zainab, a Muslim girl he had saved from rioting during the partition. Anil Sharma, who also directed the movie, had Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, Amrish Puri, and Lillete Dubey in the key parts.
