Mission Raniganj First Look: Akshay Kumar’s Film Motion Posters As Jaswant Singh Gill Featuring Miners TRAPPED Alive (Watch Video)

Akshay Kumar is all gearing up for back-to-back releases in the year 2024. After gaining immense success from ‘OMG 2,’ the actor is back to shake the theatres with another spine-chilling movie.

His new movie, 'Mission Raniganj' is all set to hit the theatres on 6th October, 2023. Now, Pooja Entertainment has dropped the first glimpse of the movie and it is nothing short of intriguing. The movie was based on a true story that happened at the Raniganj Coalfield and was motivated by Late Shri Jaswant Singh Gill's bravery in organizing Bharat's coal mine rescue operation.

The heroic Jaswant Singh Gill played a critical role in the success, against all odds rescue of all the miners still alive trapped within a flooded coal mine in Raniganj in November 1989.

The producers of 'Mission Raniganj' are Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Ajay Kapoor. The movie is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai. A film about the coal mine disaster that shook the nation and the world, as well as the heroic efforts of the rescue team led by Jaswant Singh Gill, will be released in theaters on October 6th, 2023.
