Notably, ‘OMG 2’ has been certified as 'A - Adults Only' with a runtime of 2 hours 36 minutes. Interestingly, it received approval without any cuts, highlighting the filmmakers' careful approach to storytelling.
While some scenes, dialogues, and characters underwent modifications following discussions with the censor board members, the core narrative remains intact. With the necessary approvals in place, the film is all set to hit the big screens in just 10 days.

As per reports, source revealed, “After self-releasing Mission Impossible 7 and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Viacom 18 has got PVR Pictures to distribute ‘OMG 2’ in Punjab, Nizam Andhra, Mysore, CP, CI, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Kerala, Bihar, Assam and Orissa.”
Viacom 18, the film's distributor, has secured rights for distribution in significant territories, including Mumbai, Delhi UP, Mysore, and Tamil Nadu. This strategic move is bound to amplify the movie's reach and accessibility to the eager audience. “With this move, Viacom will also hope to secure good showcasing in the PVR Inox properties all across the country in the clash scenario with Gadar 2. The social comedy, ‘OMG 2’ caters to the urban audience, and this move from the film producers will help the film have the showcasing it deserves at the national chain properties,” the source added.
