OMG 2 Trailer Out: Akshay Kumar’s PORTRAYAL As Shiva’s Messenger; Comes To Pankaj Tripathi’s Rescue (Watch Video)

The trailer of Akshay Kumar starrer ‘OMG 2’ is out now. It was postponed following the demise of Nitin Desai. The famous art director Nitin Desai's passing has resulted in the cancellation of the release of the 'OMG 2' trailer for yesterday slot but currently is made available for the audience. The upcoming movie 'OMG 2' starring Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi is based on the bond between a devotee and their god. One of the most anticipated films of the year.

The three-minute trailer introduces the character played by Tripathi, who chooses to fight his son's school after learning that his son was kicked out after a video of him went viral online. Tripathi's character prays to God to solve his difficulties, and Akshay's character emerges from the Ganges as his kid struggles to deal with the stigma.

Akshay is not portraying Lord Shiva in the trailer; rather, he is a divine messenger. Given that this was not the case with OMG, in which Akshay played Lord Krishna, it suggests that this was most likely one of the CBFC's instructions. Similar to the previous movie, in which Paresh Rawal fought his case in court, Tripathi's character is defending both himself and his son.

Nine days remain until the film's premiere, yet the producers have not yet engaged in any promotional activity. Even before it was released, ‘OMG 2’ was the centre of controversy. There was a lot of rumour around the movie's censor certification, with sources claiming that it was sent to the revision committee of the Censor Board of Film Certification. Given the present political atmosphere, the movie's alleged discussion of religion was regarded as problematic.

The 2012 movie ‘OMG’ has a sequel, titled ‘OMG 2.’ Paresh Rawal played a businessman in the movie, and Akshay Kumar portrayed Krishna, a Hindu deity. Pankaj Tripathi plays a Shiva devotee in the Amit Rai-directed movie ‘OMG 2,’ and Yami Gautam plays a lawyer. The release dates of Sunny Deol's ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘OMG 2’ coincide, creating a significant box office conflict.
