The Telugu film, which was also dubbed in Tamil, raked in ₹4 crore nett across all languages in India on its first day, as reported by Sacnilk.com. The film had a 39 percent occupancy rate in Telugu theaters and an 18.16 percent occupancy rate in Tamil theaters on Thursday. Additionally, Studio Flicks reported that the film grossed over $300K in the United States on its opening day.
‘Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty’ faced stiff competition from Shah Rukh Khan's highly anticipated action film, ‘Jawan’, which made history as the biggest Hindi opener of all time. ‘Jawan’ earned an impressive ₹75 crore nett in India on its first day across all languages.
