Bobby Darling aka Pankaj Sharma is a popular actor appears in Hindi films and TV serials. He mostly appears in a role of a gay or transgender. Bobby was born as biologically male but after he grew up, he started feeling of womanhood inside him. Bobby has appeared in the Limca Book of Records for essaying 18 roles as a gay in just an age of 23 years.

Bobby was born in Delhi in a well to do family. His father was a professor and his mother was a homemaker. Bobby started getting the feeling of homosexuality when he was in seventh grade. He got into the dilemma so badly due to his homosexuality and a peer pressure from his family and relatives. He was taken to the psychiatrists and sexologists for the treatment for his homosexuality, but in vain. Bobby got into the relationship with a guy when he was in 12th standard. He started losing his interest in studies and ran away with his boyfriend before his 12th exams. He and his mucky rich boyfriend travelled across 12 countries like Korea,Taiwan, Seoul, China, Russia , Switzerland and many others. Bobby returned to India when he came to know about his mother's grieving illness. He was besides his mother when she breathed her last. Bobby was shattered due to his mother's death. He even got more shocked when he learnt that his boyfriend was a bisexual and got married to a woman and deceived Bobby.

Bobby then shifted to Mumbai and started his struggle. He started visiting production houses . The initial stay in Mumbai brought a hardship to Bobby. He had to live on a railway station where people used to bully him by calling slang words. At last he found a shelter at Malad with four girls who used to work at a dance bar. He started working at the same place until veteran director Subhash Ghai got him his first role in the film 'Taal' as Aishwarya Rai's make up artist. After that Bobby got a chance to work in 'Style' by N Chandra. He was also seen in Hrithik Roshan's 'Na Tum Jaano Na Hum'. Sohail Khan also gave him a chance to work in his home production 'Maine Dil Tujhko Diya'. Bobby also got a chance to with Shah Rukh Khan in his home production 'Chalte Chalte'. Bobby was also seen in 'Taj Mahal' and Atul Agnihotri's movie. Bobby appeared as a normal guy in many films like 'Tum' and 'Fun2shh...' . But he mostly essayed the role of a gay man. Guinness book of world records also considered Bobby for essaying majority of gay roles at a very young age.

Bobby was seen in the films like 'Jeena Sirf Merre Liye','Stumped' ,'Dil Ne Jise Apna Kaha' ,'Page 3' ,'Tauba Tauba' ,'Kyaa Kool Hai Hum' ,'Nazar' ,'Navarasa' ,'Saawan' ,'Tom Dick and Harry' ,'Apna Sapna Money Money' ,'Apartment' etc. Bobby has received an award of the best supporting actor/actress for in film 'Navarasa' at Monaco International Film Festival in 2005.

Bobby appeared in Balaji Telefilms' TV serials like Kyonki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kaahin Kissii Roz, Kasauti Zindagi Kay etc. Bobby was one of the contestants in the reality show Bigg Boss Season 1. He got eliminated shortly.
