Shenaz Treasurywala Biography

This beauty has several talents hidden inside her, as she is Indian model, an actress and a travel writer. Shenaz Treasurywala was born on 29th June, 1981 in Mumbai in a Gujarati Parsi family, her father being a Merchant Marine Engineer. Post completing the schooling in Mumbai, she attended St. Xavier's college and achieved the degree in 1994. Then she got professionally trained in acting from Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute based in New York. Here, she also attended a writing course.

Shenaz was spotted by a photographer and she bagged her first modelling assignment for the soft drink brand, Gold Spot. Also, the beauty appeared in Akai and Philips advertisements. Post this, Shenaz anchored the MTV's Most Wanted show as a VJ. Her appearance on the small screen paved her way to the silver screen, as she entered Telugu film industry with the film 'Edhuruleni Manishi' in the year 2001. Shenaz knocked the doors of Bollywood in 2003 along with Shahid Kapoor starrer 'Ishq Vishk'. Her role in this film achieved her nomination by the Filmfare Awards for the Best Supporting Actress category. The multi-talented lady had penned down the articles on travel for the magazines like ELLE, Cosmopolitan and Femina. She also achores a program on Travel Channel titled 'Cultural Shock'. In American television serial, 'One Life To Live', Shenaz essayed the character of Rama Patel.

The Hindi movies in which Shenaz Treasurywala featured in are 'Hum Tum', 'Umar', 'Aage Se Right', 'Luv Ka The End', 'Radio' and 'Delhi Belly'. At present, Shenaz is busy in filming for her next, 'Main Aur Mr. Riight'. In this flick, she will be seen paired up with television artists Barun Sobti and Kavi Shastri.
