Tanushree Dutta Biography
Tanushree Dutta, a dusky Bengali beauty comes from a traditionalist Hindu Bengali family. Her traditional family background groomed her personality into a shy and introvert girl. Tanushree was born on 19th March 1984 in Jamshedpur , Jharkhand. Her father, Tappan Dutta works in Life Insurance Corporation Of India.
Tanushree studied at the D.B.M.S English School in Jamshedpur and later shifted to Pune for attending junior college.She enrolled for a bachelors degree in commerce but she dropped out of the college after her first year to pursue the career in modeling. During her stay at Pune, Tanushree groomed herself and developed her personality. She became more confident and outspoken. She participated in Miss India pageant in 2002, 2003 and finally won the title in 2004. She went on further to participate in the Miss World competition. She was one of the contestants in the top 10 finalists.
Tanushree commenced her acting career with the film 'Chocolate' in 2005. She was also seen in the movie 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne'. The movie was a hit at the box office. She then appeared in many movies like 'Good Boy Bad Boy' ,'Bhagam Bhag' ,'Risk', 'Dhol', 'Raqeeb' ,'Speed' , 'Saas Bahu Aur Sensex' ,'Apartment' and 'Rokkk'. Some of these movies could not make it at the box office.
