The Marvel Cinematic Universe, or MCU, has been going through a rocky patch, as fans are well aware. There have been various rumours surrounding the impending Avengers 5 and 6, the most recent being the return of Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans to the MCU. According to an online scooper, they have purportedly indicated a good response to the concept of their comeback.
Some of the key reasons why fans fell in love with Marvel were RDJ as Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, and Evans as Captain America, called Steve Rogers. Their portrayal of those superheroes was pure pleasure, and when they left the MCU after Avengers: Endgame, Marvel was no longer the same.

Following the release of the 2019 film, the studio has struggled to provide excellent material, and fans have been unhappy. Several sources say that Marvel is considering resurrecting Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man for an Avengers film.
Now, MyTimeToShineHello, an online scooper, has announced on X [previously Twitter] that both RDJ and Chris Evans have agreed to return to the MCU. The premise of the multiverse would be present in 'Avengers: The Kang Dynasty' and 'Secrets Wars', making it simple to bring back these two stars. But, as we all know, Downey is one of the highest-paid performers; therefore, the film's budget will be a major impediment. Evans will also be expensive.
Previously, there were reports that Scarlett Johansson would be revived and that the MCU would make an Avengers film with the original cast members, which included Robert Downey Jr as 'Iron Man,' 'Black Widow' ScarJo, 'Hawkeye' Jeremy Renner, 'Hulk' Mark Ruffalo, 'Captain America' Chris Evans, and 'Thor' Chris Hemsworth. With the universe at work, the possibilities are endless, but will all of the performers be ready for one more hurrah?

If so, what would they return as? Chris was rumoured to be returning as Johnny Storm, the Human Torch from the 'Fantastic Four'.
