Is Justin Bieber Still NOT OVER Selena Gomez After Years Of Breakup? Here’s What We Know!

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber split up in 2015, although they still had feelings for one other for quite some time. Selena admitted her undying love for Justin, and it was evident that she was the inspiration for his big songs of the period, such as Where R U Now, What Do You Mean, and Sorry. Here's what Justin said about Selena Gomez once.

Justin acknowledged to Access Hollywood in November 2015 that Selena Gomez was the inspiration for several songs on his forthcoming album, saying, "Probably like three songs." He further admitted Selena was his "first real love." But that's not all; Justin Bieber went on to explain that he hasn't entirely moved on from Selena.

"It was really tough. I'm not sure if I'm over it yet," he remarked. He ended by saying, "I think that I'm definitely in another place and I think we've definitely went our separate ways." However, Bieber stated that, while he has moved on with his life, he would always remember his love for Selena. "I love her and I want her to be awesome, but there are things that remind me of her."

Justin also admitted that he and Selena may still be together if they had met later in life. He discussed crafting a song named If I Would Have Met You In 5 Years that didn't make it on the album. Justin said, describing the song, "How true is that? How many individuals go through life and meet someone who seems so right but is just at the wrong time? Many individuals can identify with that."

In terms of their present connection, Justin stated unequivocally that he will always reach out to Selena since they adore each other. "[She] is someone I adore," he stated. “I'll never be able to quit loving her. I'll never stop checking in on her. I don't think you should stop a relationship unless it was really toxic and you were physically or emotionally abusing one other; we always respected each other and still do." He concluded by saying, "I don't know what happens. I don't know what is going to happen in the future, I think we both gotta do some soul-searching ourselves and figure out ourselves before we can just try to figure out each other."

This was probably the only interview in which Justin discussed his relationship with Selena in an open and honest manner.
