Kabzaa Box Office Collection Day 5: Upendra, Kiccha Supdeep’s Film Sees Downward Trend, Collects A Total Of Rs 27 crores

‘Kabzaa’, starring Upendra, Shiva Rajkumar, Kiccha Sudeep, and Shriya Saran, hit theatres on March 17. ‘Kabzaa’, a Kannada film directed by R Chandru, has been released on 4000 screens along with dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam. The period action thriller set in the 1930s has received mixed reviews from audiences and critics alike. The film's trailer gave off huge KGF vibes, which made fans psyched for the release.

‘Kabzaa’ Box Office Collections

‘Kabzaa’ grossed Rs 10.35 crore on its first day of release last week. The film's collection has been gradually declining since Day 2. According to sources, ‘Kabzaa’ made between Rs 2.50 and Rs 3.20 crore on its fifth day at the box office in India. ‘Kabzaa's’ five-day collection in India has already reached Rs 27.47 crore (nett). On March 21, the film had a 22.93% occupancy in Kannada.

Kabzaa, written and directed by R Chandru, tells the narrative of an air force pilot named Arkeshwaran, who finally becomes a mafia leader when circumstances force him into the underground. The period action drama had been in the works for nearly four years.

About 'Kabzaa'

While Upendra, Kichcha Sudeep, and Shriya Saran played the key parts, Shiva Rajkumar appeared in a cameo. Anand Pandit, R Chandru, and Alankar Pandian produce the film. Murali Sharma, Sudha, Nawab Shah, and John Kokken appeared in supporting parts.

According to reports, Amazon Prime Video has paid Rs 140 crore for the rights to stream ‘Kabzaa’ on their platform. The film will be released on the OTT platform next month.
