‘Japan’, starring Karthi in the main role, is Raju Murugan's newest crime-comedy film, which was released on November 10 during the Diwali holiday. Karthi plays Japan in the criminal comedy film, which also stars Anu Emmanuel, Jithan Ramesh, KS Ravikumar, Sunil, Vijay Milton, Vagai Chandrasekhar, and Bava Chelladurai.

Dream Warrior Pictures produced the film, which was directed by SR Prabhu. The film was written and directed by Raju Murugan. The film's complete sound and music was composed by GV Prakash Kumar. ‘Japan's’ editor and cinematographer were Philomin Raj and Ravi Varman, respectively.
