Simrat Kaur was most recently featured in the film ‘Gadar 2’ as Muskaan, the love interest of Utkarsh Sharma's character Charanjeet Singh. The film went on to become a huge box office success, being the third highest-grossing Indian film of 2023 and the eighth highest-grossing Hindi film of all time.
Sunny Deol's spectacular return to the big screen came after his highly praised and profitable 2022 film, ‘Chup: Revenge of The Artist’, which also starred Dulquer Salmaan, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Pooja Bhatt, and Saranya Ponnvannan.
Sunny Deol reprised his character from the 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha in Gadar 2. Both films were directed by Anil Sharma. The film was a period-action drama in which Deol's character had to rescue his kid from Pakistan during the Indo-Pak War of 1971.
