The creators of the much-anticipated trailer for ‘Kaathal - The Core’, directed by Jeo Baby and starring the famous Mammootty and Jyothika, unveiled it at midnight (14th November) at 12:30 AM.

Mammootty made the announcement on social media around 11:25 p.m. (November 13), causing a stir among admirers. Mammootty went to his X (formerly Twitter) to provide an update on the trailer's debut, writing, "KaathalTheCore Official Trailer Releasing Tonight at 12.30 AM"

Mammootty plays Mathew Devassy, a figure who resists categorization. The 1.48-minute teaser reveals Mathew's complicated identity as he begins on a political odyssey, contesting panchayat elections as a left-wing independent candidate. The captivating sights and interesting tale provided in this brief but powerful teaser have raised viewer expectations.

‘Kaathal-The Core’ Cast And Crew:

The drama film ‘Kaathal - The Core’ is the sixth feature film directed by Jeo Baby, who is most known for his 2021 film The Great Indian Kitchen. Along with Mammootty and Jyothika, the film also stars Joji John, Jisshu Sengupta, and Muthumani. Jyothika's comeback to Malayalam cinema after a 14-year absence is also marked by the film.

Adarsh Sukumaran and Paulson Skaria wrote the script, while Mammootty produced it under his production company, Mammootty Kampany. The music was created by Mathews Pulickan, the cinematography was done by Salu K. Thomas, and the editing was handled by Francies Louis.

What’s Next for Mammootty and Jyothika:

Mammootty has a busy schedule, beginning with the highly anticipated ‘Yatra 2’, a sequel to the 2019 film of the same name. He also appears in the forthcoming film Bazooka, directed by newbie Deeno Dennis.

In addition, he appears in the horror movie ‘Bramayugam’, directed by Rahul Sadasivan and starring Arjun Ashokan, Sidharth Bharathan, and others.
