Turbo: ‘THIS’ Actor Comedian Is All Set To Join Mammootty’s Upcoming Flick!

Sunil, a popular Telugu actor and comedian, is poised to make his Malayalam debut in Mammootty's next film ‘Turbo’, written by Midhun Manuel Thomas. Mammootty's home banner, Mammootty Kampany, which is also producing the film, revealed the on-board announcement on social media.

Mammootty Kampany's X (previously Twitter) page posted, "Excited to have beloved suneeltollywood on board for Turbo! Here's to hoping for a memorable Mollywood debut!" Sunil's photo was on the poster, with the words "Welcome on board" inscribed on the side.

About ‘Turbo’:

Mammootty will have a new look in ‘Turbo’, which is supposed to be an action-packed flick. Vysakh, who previously worked with Mammootty on the films Pokkiri Raja and Madhura Raja, is directing the film. While no additional information has been revealed, it is claimed that Turbo is a reworked version of Turbo Peter, which Midhun Manuel was intended to direct alongside Jayasurya.

Sunil’s Work Front:

Sunil is presently working on several projects, including Shankar's ‘Game Changer,’ Trivikram Srinivas' ‘Guntur Kaaram’, and Sukumar's ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’.

Mammootty’s Work Front:

Mammootty is now experiencing success with his most recent flick, ‘Kannur Squad’. He has also officially revealed his next project, ‘Turbo’, in which he will play the starring role. ‘Turbo’ was announced after much anticipation regarding a collaboration between Vysakh and Midhun Manuel Thomas.

Mammootty has appeared recently in three films: Lijo Jose Pellissery's ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’, ‘Christopher’, and ‘Kannur Squad’.

Mammootty will also appear in the Jeo Baby-directed film ‘Kaathal-The Core’, starring Jyothika, who is making a long-awaited return to Malayalam cinema. The film is set to be released in theatres in December as part of the International Film Festival of Kerala.

Aside from these films, Mammootty is set to appear in the horror film ‘Bramayugam’, the action-thriller ‘Bazooka’, and the Telugu film ‘Yatra 2’, in which he will reprise his role as former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy.
