Gumraah Box Office Collection Day 6: No Audience For Aditya Roy Kapur’s Movie; Mints Rs. 50 Lakhs On It’s Sixth Day

‘Gumraah’, a recently released movie starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur, is battling to gross more than Rs 10 crore at the box office. It has only recently made Rs. 5.40 crore. Given that theatres are still vacant, it appears that ‘Gumraah’ will not be revived. This was immediately followed by Aditya's highly appreciated performance in ‘The Night Manager’. The movie might soon be pulled from theatres if things continue this way.

The public and critics had conflicting opinions of ‘Gumraah’ by Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur. Its box office results, however, are rather poor. 121, the movie experienced a significant decline once more, according to reports. According to reports, it only managed to make Rs 50 lakh at the box office, which is a disappointingly small sum for a film starring famous people like Aditya and Mrunal. In the domestic market alone, ‘Gumraah’ has reportedly earned a total of Rs 5.40 crore. Recent films like ‘Dasara’, starring ‘Nani’, and ‘Bholaa’, starring Ajay Devgn, are competing with ‘Gumraah’. On April 12, the movie's Hindi occupancy rate was 7.54 percent overall.
About ‘Gumraah’
Vardhan Ketkar, a first-time director, directed ‘Gumraah’. The movie is made by Cine1 Studios and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series. On April 7, 2023, it was shown in theatres. The crime thriller is a remake of the Tamil film Thadam. Aditya Roy Kapur, Mrunal Thakur, and Ronit Roy all had dual roles in the movie.
‘Gumraah's’ plot centers on sub-inspector Shivani Mathur, who is tasked with looking into a man's murder. She locates two suspects who resemble each other but are unaware of one another. Shivani's situation worsens when she learns additional information regarding the case. Songs for the movie were composed by Mithoon, Vishal Mishra, Tanishk Bagchi, and Abhijit Vaghani.
