‘Salaar’ had been on the verge of ecstasy for quite some time. The picture, which was originally scheduled to be released in the middle of the year, was pushed back to December, causing it to conflict with another star-studded production.
The Shah Rukh Khan flick ‘Dunki,’ directed by Rajkumar Hirani, will also be released in theatres in December, making it a massive clash release at the end of the year. Interestingly, Prashanth Neel's ‘KGF: Chapter 1’ and SRK's ‘Zero’ both had clash releases in 2018. History appears to be repeating itself, and only time will tell which of the two biggies will satisfy the public more this Christmas.
Prabhas' next project will undoubtedly be Prashanth Neel's ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’, which marks the director and actor's first collaboration. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Shruti Haasan, Tinnu Anand, Brahmaji, Easwari Rao, and many more in key parts. Furthermore, ‘Gadar 2’ actress Simrat Kaur has been confirmed by many sources to feature in the film in a special song appearance.
